I don't want to work. T_T
My first day out on the floor will be today at JC Pennies....on Black Friday.

What the hell kind of consideration is that? *CRIES* I was told that I shouldn't be using the register, but that I'll probably be dragged into it anyway. That I should just put things away, and help people find what they are looking for. The only problem is we only JUST found out what department I would be part of...so I don't know anything about it, or where anything is located.

I can already tell this is going to be one of those days where I come home, and just cry because I was overly stressed.  >.< I don't want to go!

Awwww.... U_U
I hope it wasn't as bad as you thought it would be.

((Erm... BTW, what is 'Black Friday'? It sounds kinda depressing.))

*Sleepy**rubs eyes**Just woke up*

Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving here in America, in which EVERYONE does their shopping because everything goes on sale. You can get everything for unbelievable bargains, and stores open extra early for it. For instance, JC Pennies opened at 4:00 AM in the morning, and didn't close until midnight last night. I ended up working from 1 to 10.

It's pretty chaotic since there are so many people. I know there were some people who even camped out in front of Best Buy. T_T If I had not worked (and had money *and could have found a way over there)....ohhhh the movies, the laptop I would have had! Movies were going for only 3 bucks! So unheard of! Gotta love them doorbuster sales!

Anyway, it really just marks the beginning of the Christmas season. I think I heard it's called 'Black' Friday because of the insane traffic and because it's when retailers are beginning to go into the Black (They begin taking in profits). It's craziest day of the year, to have to work in retail anyway.

But, honestly it wasn't too bad (thankfully). There were a lot of people in my department yesterday which was a real big help, since it was so busy. Uh...I never saw such a mess in the store though (I kind of avoided the register like the plague...but since there are some employees that don't like to do anything, I kept getting thrown on it anyway for a time). No matter how much I folded, 20 more people would come right after and destroy everything. Especially since it was children's, it was a pretty busy spot. I just tried my best, and somehow managed to get through. ^_^
